Nutmeg Productions
Video Production Company London
Nutmeg Productions is a London video production company with twenty years of experience making films and animations that move people to act, donate, support and engage. Based in Farringdon, EC1, we work with charities, NHS trusts, global brands and public sector organisations across London and the UK, producing everything from DRTV fundraising films and NHS animation series to corporate brand films and multilingual campaign content.
What we do
We are a full-service production company with an in-house animation studio. Our London team handles every stage of production – development, scripting, directing, cinematography, editing, post-production and delivery – all under one roof.
Our work spans:
Charity video production – fundraising films, DRTV advertising, campaign films, awareness content and donor engagement video for some of the UK’s best known charities. Clients include Age UK, the RSPCA, British Red Cross, Mind, Centrepoint, Cruelty Free International and Shelter. Our Royal College of Nursing film was watched 1.6 million times in 72 hours.
Healthcare video production – patient information films, NHS recruitment films, clinical animation, public health campaigns and fundraising content for NHS trusts and healthcare organisations. Our NHS work includes an ongoing animation series delivered in 12 languages, exercise films for cardiac patients distributed across the UK, and a fundraising campaign for Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust that helped raise £10 million in under a year.
Corporate video production – brand films, employer brand content, product films, educational film series and campaign content for global brands and professional services organisations. Clients include Marks & Spencer, Penguin Random House, Lloyd’s Register Foundation, Farnborough Airport and the British Council.
Animation – 2D animation, explainer animation, multilingual animation and motion graphics for charity, healthcare, corporate and public sector clients. Our animation studio has produced series in up to 15 languages for clients including the NHS, the Mayor of London, the MS International Federation and Coventry University.

Harry & Is are fab and the wider team were professional, efficient, and really understood how to craft a strong direct-response message. The final ad looked great, stayed true to fundraising and the brand, the whole process ran smoothly from start to finish. Highly recommend!” Alessandra Arnott, Arthur London, RSPCA DRTV

How we work
Every Nutmeg production is led by a dedicated producer who stays with you from first conversation through to final delivery. We work collaboratively with communications, fundraising and marketing teams and we know that for many of our clients, particularly in the charity and NHS sectors, the filming process involves vulnerable people, sensitive subjects and significant internal sign-off requirements. We handle all of that with the care and experience it deserves.
Development – we start by understanding your brief, your audience and what you need the film to achieve. We’ll develop a creative approach and share a treatment for your feedback before any production begins.
Pre-production – scripting, storyboarding, casting, location sourcing, scheduling and logistics. For multilingual productions we manage translation, cultural review and voiceover casting across all languages.
Production – our in-house crew films across London, the UK and internationally. We work with clinical staff, charity beneficiaries, corporate teams and public figures with equal professionalism and care.
Post-production – editing, colour grade, sound design, music, motion graphics, subtitles and accessibility versions. You review at each stage via our secure online review system, with time-coded feedback that goes directly to our edit team.
Delivery – final films delivered in every format you need, for broadcast, social media, website and internal use.
Ballpark Pricing
Every project is different, and we always work to find the right creative approach for the available budget. As a guide:
A single-day charity case study or interview film typically starts from around £3,500–£6,000.
A campaign film or fundraising film with multiple shoot days, scripted drama or animation typically ranges from £8,000–£25,000 depending on scope and format.
An animation series for the NHS or public sector, including translation, voiceover and cultural review across multiple languages, is scoped individually based on the number of films and languages required.
We are always happy to talk through a brief and give an honest assessment of what’s achievable at different budget levels. Get in touch →
