How we work
Every Nutmeg healthcare production is led by a dedicated producer who stays with you from first conversation through to final delivery. We work collaboratively with communications, clinical and fundraising teams, and we know that healthcare productions involve some of the most sensitive filming environments and subject matter of any sector. We handle all of that with the professionalism, discretion and care it demands.
Development – we start by understanding your brief, your audience and what you need the film to achieve. For clinical productions we work closely with your communications and clinical leads to ensure accuracy and appropriate sign-off from the outset.
Pre-production – scripting, storyboarding, casting, location sourcing, scheduling and logistics. For hospital-based productions we manage all access permissions, risk assessments and infection control requirements in advance.
Production – our crews have twenty years of experience filming in clinical environments including hospitals, wards, operating theatres, GP surgeries and care homes. We work discreetly and professionally alongside clinical staff without disrupting patient care.
Post-production – editing, colour grade, sound design, music, motion graphics, subtitles and accessibility versions including BSL where required. You review at each stage via our secure online review system, with time-coded feedback that goes directly to our edit team.
Delivery – final films delivered in every format you need, for NHS intranet platforms, public-facing websites, social media, recruitment campaigns, fundraising platforms and broadcast.
