Public Health England, who work with us regularly as their animation agency, asked us to create an animation to help the general public understand testing, screening and medical procedures. We were tasked with developing the brand look and feel for Public Health England to use in all its subsequent screening information animations. This film in particular focuses on audiology tests offered by the NHS to all newborn babies.
In the animation we meet baby Thomas (who features in further films in the series), and using a clear and simple narrative, we explain what tests are available and what each test measures. The film signposts viewers to further information and is available in several different language versions to reach as wide an audience as possible. While working on developing the brand style, we gathered insights from focus groups to ensure our illustrative, voiceover and storytelling style would appeal to a broad and varied audience.
