Let’s cook! recipe films.

The Brief

Our recipe video production team worked on a new series of recipe films recently – the Let’s Cook Campaign.

Our regular film work with Public Health England’s Change4Life and Start4Life campaigns, means we create loads of video and photographic recipe content.  To launch the Let’s Cook Campaign, we were asked to bring 8 recipes to life on film in an engaging way. The films needed to encourage people to cook healthy meals with their children.

The films

We moved away from the traditional top-down recipe video production and filmed real families in a real kitchen, to showcase cooking and eating together.

We did everything from recipe creation up including casting, location sourcing, scripting and storyboarding. Our Home Economist, food stylist and Director worked together to ensure the recipes were easy to follow and good to eat.

All filmed on an ARRI Alexa on a cold December day, the cooking films are instructive, fun, and lively and show families achievable ways to get together in the kitchen and enjoy a healthy meal.
